🏆 Exciting news from The Coppins!

We’re absolutely delighted to share that The Coppins has been nominated for Practice of the Year in this year’s Pet Plan awards🎉

Not only has the practice been nominated… one of our wonderful vets, Tony has been nominated not once, but twice for Vet of the Year 🥳🐾

We’re incredibly proud of our whole team and the care, dedication and commitment they put into looking after our patients and their families.

To have The Coppins recognised with a Practice of the Year nomination, and Tony recognised with two Vet of the Year nominations, is something we’re all very proud of. Thank you to those who nominated us❤️

Deceased Cat Found – Rockhampton Area BS35

We are sorry to share that a deceased black female cat has been found in the Rockhampton area.

Unfortunately, she was not microchipped, and we would very much like to help reunite her with her family if possible.

If you believe this may be your cat, or you know someone who may be missing a black female cat from the area, please contact the practice on 01454269339.

Please share this post to help us reach her owners.

🐾 New in our waiting room! 🐾

Have you spotted our brand new cat tower yet?🐱✨

We know that coming to the vets can be a little stressful for our feline friends. Cats naturally feel much safer and more secure when they are up high, away from the floor and out of eye line from other pets.

That is why we have installed this special tower just for them! Next time you visit, please feel free to place your cat's carrier safely on one of the shelves to help them feel calm and relaxed.

🐰🐹 Small furries are welcome too! Even though we call it a cat tower, our rabbit and guinea pig patients are more than welcome to use the shelves to stay safely out of the way of any curious dogs!

(Please note, the shelves are designed perfectly for standard-sized carriers, so extra-large carriers won't quite fit!)

A huge thank you to the lovely Eva for being our star model and showing everyone exactly how it is used! 📸👇

☀️ Heatwave Reminder ☀️

With the current hot weather, we'd like to ask clients to help us keep everyone as comfortable as possible.

🐶 Please don't leave your dogs in the car, even if it's parked in the shade. Temperatures inside vehicles can rise dangerously quickly. If you're attending an appointment with more than one pet and need someone to help hold one of them so they don't have to wait in the car, please let a member of our team know and we can assist with holding.

⏰ If possible, please arrive as close to your appointment time as you can, rather than early. Our waiting room can become very warm during hot weather, so reducing waiting times helps keep both pets and owners more comfortable.

Thank you for your understanding and for helping us keep our patients safe during the heat. 💙🐾
