🐾 Staff Pet Spotlight: Dave! 🐾

Meet Dave, staff pet of Eloise! 🐱💙
After a little tumble left him with some small wounds, Dave had to wear his cone for around 3 weeks while he healed. And let’s just say… the boredom definitely got to him! 😂
But this handsome boy powered through, even if being a cone-head wasn’t exactly his idea of a good time! 🥹💙
We think he deserves a little extra fuss for being such a brave boy! 🐾

🐾 This is Bruce! 🐾

Bruce came to see us after having a little too much fun playing in the garden… and unfortunately, a bamboo decided to join in! 🎋😬

Bruce’s little accident meant that he needed some surgery, followed by a few regular visits to see us for bandage changes while his poorly paw healed. 🩹🐾

It wasn’t a quick fix, as paws can be notoriously tricky to heal — especially when you can’t exactly explain to a dog that they need to “stay off it!” 😂

But with plenty of patience, care and a few bandage changes along the way, we finally got there! 🎉

Bruce’s paw healed beautifully, and he was soon back to doing what he loves best. ❤️🐶

Well done, Bruce — we’re so pleased to see you back on all four paws! 🐾🥰

🐾 Meet Manny & George! 🐾

It’s not every day we get to meet an English Bull Terrier, so you can imagine our excitement when these two handsome boys came through our doors! 😍

First up was little Manny, followed a little later by the gorgeous George. Two very different personalities, but both equally adorable! 🥰🐶

Manny and George were both in to see us for their routine vaccinations 💉 — something that’s included as part of our Pet Health Club! 🩺❤️

We’re pretty sure they both left with plenty of fuss and cuddles too… although we may have enjoyed that part just as much as they did! 😂🐾

Who else is a fan of these gorgeous boys? ❤️

Just a warning that several pet owners have highlighted they have received an email saying that their pets microchip is expiring and they need to pay to reregister. These emails are very convincing and contain all the correct details. However Microchips and their standard UK database registrations do not have an expiry date, and you do not need to pay annual subscription fees to keep them valid.

The current ones are very convincing as unlike generic phishing attempts, these alerts drop owners' guards because they contain accurate personal data. Scammers are exploiting data harvested from historical breaches or scraping unverified online databases. The fraudulent messages frequently include:
• Your pet's actual name
• Your correct phone number and home address
• Your pet's exact 15-digit microchip number
