Handsome Dudley came back for his 2nd groom with me today and what a pleasure it was to see him. Last groom we had to shave him very short for a reset so today his pawrent were delighted that he was able to have a fluffy groom. They had done a great job between appointments maintaining his coat.

What’s included in a full groom?

⭐️ Gentle ear cleaning with a dog specific ear cleaning solution (ear plucking is not offered)

⭐️ A nail trim (if the nails require this)

⭐️ A bath with appropriate shampoo (and conditioner if appropriate to your dog’s coat type).

⭐️ Drying with a power dryer (or more gentle hair dryer).

⭐️ A through brush through of your dogs coat.

⭐️ Styling of your dogs coat - this will be through clipping, hand stripping or de-shedding techniques appropriate to the dogs coat type. Including body, face and paws.

⭐️ A sanitary trim of the bottom and undercarriage.

⭐️ Finished with a spritz of dog perfume.

⭐️ Plenty of cuddles and treats along the way. (So long as there is permission for treats!)

What’s the benefit of a bath and blowdry?

A bath and blowdry includes:

⭐️ Gentle ear cleaning with a dog specific ear cleaning solution (ear plucking is not offered)

⭐️ A bath with appropriate shampoo (and conditioner if appropriate to your dog’s coat type).

⭐️ Drying with a power dryer (or more gentle hair dryer).

⭐️ A through brush through of your dogs coat.

This can help to keep your dog’s coat in fabulous condition and minimise the chances of matting. Adding on the Face, Feet and Hygiene trim for longer haired or curly coat dogs can also help to extend the time required between full groom appointments and ultimately reduce overall grooming costs while keeping your dogs comfortable and looking wonderful ❤️🐾

Cockapoo Ted came for his first groom with me today. He said a big NO to the blaster but was very brave and let me dry him with the hairdryer. His parents love his fluffy locks and I think he looked wonderful with a slightly longer finish to his hair cut. He smelt delightful too!
