Happy from Penny and Coin π
Many of you will remember Coin, who was born here at The Centre in February and quickly became a favourite on our page. We shared updates as he grew from a tiny kitten overcoming health challenges into the playful, affectionate youngster he is today. We honestly thought he and his mum Penny would be snapped up straight away! π
Penny arrived at The Centre in January when her owner became unwell and could no longer care for her cats. A month later, she gave birth to Coin, and the pair have been inseparable ever since. Penny is 3 years old and Coin is now 16 weeks old π»
Penny is a sweet, gentle girl who can be a little shy at first, but once she trusts you she loves fuss and attention. Coin is a typical fun-loving kitten with plenty of energy, although he can be a little cautious when meeting new people. Once he's settled, he loves belly rubs and isn't shy about showing off his tummy!
Coin overcame swimmer syndrome as a young kitten, requiring physiotherapy and splints to help his legs develop properly. Thanks to lots of care and determination, he's grown into a happy, active kitten π
They are looking for a home together with access to a secure garden away from busy roads. They could live with other cats but would prefer a home without dogs and with older or no children π
