Right everyone, I have an important announcement to make…
The humans have officially entered their Halloween era! 🎃😂
There’s talk of spooky costumes, creepy decorations, pumpkins and trick or treating. Honestly, I leave them alone for five minutes and they start planning all sorts of strange things!

I’m just wondering whether anyone has considered how terrifying a cob can look when he puts his ears back and gives you that look. No costume required! 😏🐴

But in all seriousness, October means plenty of Halloween excitement here at the centre, and our Halloween Activity Days are something to look forward to! 🧙‍♀️🕸️

They’re a chance for the children to enjoy a fun day at the yard, spend time around our horses and ponies, get involved in Halloween-themed games and crafts, and make some lovely memories with their friends.
Whether they love all things spooky or simply love spending time with horses, it’s a lovely way to enjoy the school holidays with a little extra Halloween magic! 🧡🐎

And don't worry, I shall be on hand to oversee everything. I may not be particularly helpful, but I do look good standing around looking important. 😂

Hey guys. It’s your favourite time of the week again. Flynn Friday🎃

Well, it’s officially the 1st week of October, which means only one thing…

HALLOWEEN SEASON HAS BEGUN! 🎃👻🧙‍♀️

The humans have decided it’s soon time for spooky decorations to come out and apparently everyone has decided it’s perfectly acceptable to dress up and wander around looking suspicious. 😂

Personally, I think I look fabulous without a costume but I definitely am winning best dressed! 😌🐴

And talking of Halloween, we’ve got some Halloween Activity Days coming up here at the centre! 🎃🐎

Our Activity Days are a brilliant way for children to spend the day having lots of horse and Halloween-themed fun. They’ll get the chance to spend time around the horses and ponies, take part in fun activities, which even involves a spooky carriage ride, enjoy some spooky-themed games and crafts, and get involved in all the Halloween excitement around the centre. 👻🧙‍♀️🎨

Whether they’re already horse mad or just looking for something fun and different to do during the school holidays, there’ll be plenty to keep them entertained I will be there to make sure everything is being done properly. Someone has to supervise. 😉

Now I’m off to get my Halloween costume ready hope to see you all in the holidays. 🐴🎃

Our beautiful boys Major and Buster. 🐴

Major and Buster have shared 15 years of life together. The good days, the busy days, the adventures, and plenty of time spent doing what they love the most which usually involves causing chaos.

They have grown older together and the best part when it comes to retirement they will so that together too. ❤️

Some friendships are just meant to last a lifetime.

Just look at this handsome boy! Takoda is growing up far too quickly, but he’s still got that cheeky baby face we all love. He’s turning into such a lovely young horse and we love watching his personality come through more and more every day. 🥹💛

🐴 FLYNN FRIDAY 🐴
Another week has flown by, and I’ve been keeping myself very busy at the centre.
There’s always something going on around here, and naturally I feel it’s my responsibility to supervise absolutely everything and everyone. 👀

I’ve been checking on the other horses, keeping an eye on the humans, going out on treks and generally making sure everyone knows that I’m available for important advice.
Although, I have noticed the humans seem to have their own ideas about how things should be done.
For example, they say we should all walk nicely in a line.
I say we should walk at Flynn’s preferred pace.
They say I should stand still.
I say standing still is much easier when I’m being scratched.
They say I’m cheeky.
I say I’m simply keeping everyone entertained.

Honestly, I don’t know what they’d do without me.
So that’s another week of me doing my very important job of being Flynn.
