Is your cat microchipped? 🐱

Did you know that it’s a legal requirement for cats over 20 weeks old in England to be microchipped and registered on a compliant database?

But microchipping isn’t just about meeting the legal requirement or avoiding a potential fine. It also makes all the difference if your cat ever goes missing.

We’re seeing an increasing number of stray and lost cats coming into our practices without microchips, which makes it incredibly difficult to reunite them with their owners.

A microchip gives your cat a permanent form of identification, so if they’re found and brought to a vet, their details can be checked and you can be contacted quickly.

If your cat hasn't been microchipped yet, or you're not sure whether their chip is registered with your current contact details, get in touch with our team.
