A great, dog-friendly place! One of our favourites ❤️

We’re often asked if the is dog friendly, and it certainly is!

Dogs are very welcome on the estate; however, they are not allowed inside the Farm Shop or Cafe due to the amount of loose food we have (with the exception of guide and service dogs of course)

We welcome dogs at our outside seating area at the Café and have dog sausages and dog ice cream on the menu if your dog is hungry. We have dog treats and these fabulous puppuccino drinks available at our takeaway coffee horsebox too.

There are two bookable ‘dog parks’ right behind the Farm Shop, you’ll find these by searching ‘Welbeck dog park’ online.

There are many lovely dog-friendly walks from the Estate, the ‘Harley Art Trail’ being the most popular.

The Notcutts garden centre next door is a large building which ‘welcomes well-behaved dogs on short leads’, providing some indoor cover if the weather isn’t too kind ☔️

Parking is free too, you can find us at S80 3LW, on the A60 between Worksop and Mansfield.

We're approaching our 6th birthday so I thought I'd share some of the things we are told when we first launched.

It's a hard time for small businesses but if we gave up when things got tough we wouldn't still be here.

We have great stockists and amazing customers. We really do appreciate your support.

An early morning walk at this morning, still quite warm though.

On a hot day, like today, this will be Bow's only walk. This evening he'll get a bit of enrichment with a sniffari in the garden or a snuffle mat - if you haven't got one you need to check out . We'll follow this up with a lickimat with some yoghurt and on it; it's in the freezer to make it last longer and also cool him down.

Bow's quite a reluctant drinker so we encourage him to drink more by adding a little Furr Boost or bone broth to his water.

Remember the golden rule for dog walks - if you can't place your palm on the pavement for more than a few seconds it's too hot for your dog. Your pup won't die from missing a walk but if you've ever seen a dog suffering from heat stroke you'll know how distressing it is.

​Here’s a little insight into who Matt is, what I loves, and what I does when I'm not spinning plates at work:

​Right now, I'm the driving force behind our operations 😂, spending most ofmy time mastering the chaos of Apawtiser admin.

​The Ultimate Dog Lover
​To say I'm a dog person is an understatement.
​I grew up surrounded by feisty, lovable Jack Russell terriers. ​Nowadays, Sarah and I, are proud paw-rents to a gorgeous Cocker Spaniel named Bow.

​Unsurprisingly, my perfect day involves a long dog walk—ideally one that conveniently features a cozy pub stop along the way. ☕🍺

​🎸 Life Outside of Work
​When I'm not hanging out with Bow and Sarah or tackling admin, I have plenty to keep me busy:
​Music & Media: I'm a big fan of films and music, and I'm currently channeling my inner rockstar by learning to play the guitar- the same 7 or 8 chords I've been learning for the last 20 years!

​In the Kitchen: I love to cook, and now that the weather is warming up, I enjoy a BBQ. 🍔🔥
​Trivia Time: I loves a good pub quiz—so if you ever need a teammate for trivia night, I'm here.

Just realised we’ve been a bit quiet on the socials this week… sorry about that.

Truth is, there’s loads happening behind the scenes right now, and it’s taken up a fair chunk of our time 👀
