Where to Wednesday? Off on another trip to educate all things Laser, Regenerative medicine and Stance analysis. Looking forward to this one as it’s not somewhere I’ve been before.

🎥 HOW TO TALK TO OWNERS ABOUT LASER THERAPY

One of the biggest challenges isn’t delivering laser therapy—it’s explaining it in a way that owners understand and value.

❌ Avoid leading with the technology.
Most owners don’t care about wavelengths, frequencies, or treatment parameters.

✅ Start with the problem.

“Your dog’s arthritis is causing inflammation, discomfort, and reduced mobility.”

Then explain the benefit:

“Laser therapy helps reduce inflammation, decrease pain, and support the body’s natural healing processes, helping your pet move more comfortably.”

Owners buy outcomes, not equipment.

A simple framework:

1️⃣ Explain the condition
2️⃣ Explain how it affects the pet
3️⃣ Explain how laser therapy can help
4️⃣ Set realistic expectations
5️⃣ Discuss the treatment plan

For example:

“Laser therapy isn’t a cure for arthritis, but it can be an excellent tool to help manage pain, improve mobility, and enhance quality of life. Most patients benefit from an initial course of treatments before moving onto maintenance sessions.”

When owners understand the ‘why’, compliance and treatment success improve dramatically.

Finished a busy week delivering three Laser Masterclasses across the UK and Denmark.

It’s always a privilege to share knowledge, experience, and practical skills with such engaged professionals. From theory sessions to hands-on practical learning, it’s been fantastic to see so much enthusiasm for advancing laser therapy in clinical practice.

But for me, the most important thing is why we do this. The passion behind improving the lives of animals, supporting recovery, reducing pain, and helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to some great discussions throughout the week 🐾

You already understand movement.
You already understand water.
But where does laser fit in? 🤔

For many hydrotherapists, laser therapy feels like a completely separate skillset.

But what if it could simply become another tool to enhance the work you are already doing?

In this webinar, Emily Ashdown explores how hydrotherapists can safely and effectively integrate laser therapy into clinical practice - moving beyond theory and focusing on practical application.

💧 When should laser be used alongside hydrotherapy?
💧 Which patients benefit most?
💧 How can laser and hydro complement one another?
💧 How do we use it safely and confidently?

Because sometimes better outcomes are not about choosing one modality over another.

Sometimes it is about learning how they work together 💚

What do jelly beans and lasers have in common? 🫘✨

Mitochondria!

Okay, not exactly… but mitochondria do look a bit like jelly beans, and they give you energy 😆.

When stimulated by specific wavelengths of light, mitochondria can increase ATP production, giving cells the energy they need to repair, recover and function more effectively.

Jelly beans = mitochondria.
Lasers = mitochondrial stimulation.
Energy = ATP. ⚡️

Science is pretty sweet.
