Indiana was very keen to go into the PRU today. She had a great time with the students

So yesterday we popped into the RSPCA classic car show on the way into town where we sat and had a lovely coffee in the sunshine. It was a lovely afternoon and also ironic as before heading into town I had a conversation with a puppy parent about why getting insurance is always a good idea. I never argue that some people are lucky enough not to use it but I also pointed out how expensive vet bills can be. Well yesterday evening we then ended up at the out of hours vets with Indiana. about 8pm she started to ask to go out much more frequently than she should have needed to and I then started to suspect a UTI. Due to Aris condition I always have urine testing sticks here so I tested her urine and yes there was definitely a UTI. By this time it was normal bedtime, so we locked down the other dogs and then Indie threw up everywhere, so this sealed the question do we go out of hours tonight? two hours later she was home and had had antibiotics, which helped to settle her quickly. Today she has been weeing frequently but she is much more settled and also full of herself, so obviously feeling much better. This little trip to the vets cost just under £500 though, of course she is insured but that is how simple and quick it can be, fine all day, started to feel unwell and then very unwell very quickly. If you are unsure whether you should insure your dog think about this little tale, do you have a spare £500 that you can magic out of no where if you dont have insurance?

Indiana went into school today to meet and do some training with some students. She was a very tired girl when she got home but she has learnt paw and also did a roll, although more by luck. She also did some sits, downs and stands and a door and gate manners

With just over two weeks to Aris assessment I had her and Indiana in town today making sure they are comfortable in most scenarios.
