Hello and welcome to the page of: Lisa Jackson’s Dog Training. Here at our training centre in Kempsey, Worcestershire we run lots of different classes throughout the week: Puppy pre-school, puppy school, good citizen dog scheme, beginners, intermediate and advanced training sessions, fun agility and fun flyball. Puppy school and training sessions are also run at our classes in Rushwick, Worcestershire.

The Blaze Pods are now on the wall but can also be used on the floor and we have mounted the hand speed challenge. So far the latter I have proved to be abysmal at!! Great for hand eye coordination ordination. Also gets you moving. These can be used for both younger and older young people, so we are starting to get together a good amount of equipment for all ages. We also have lots of games that could be played in the sensory room, if your young person needs a quiet space, such as connect 4, skittles, bouncing connect 4, jenga, and much more
I am already on week 3 of advanced coaching. Today's lectures were on hormones. Dont forget I can help you to move forward if you feel a loss of any kind, as well as coaching ADHD issues. If you need support get in touch, dont suffer in silence. Sessions are flexible and can be paid as you go. I understand that the cost of living is affecting everyone, so I am trying to price things so that people can reach out if they need help

Wednesday means New College Worcester, the college for the visually impaired with Dakota. The resilience of the students is remarkable. I learnt two things very early on. Never take it that they cant do exactly the same as a sighted person and always ask if they want guiding and if they do offer your arm. Please never grab the arm of a visually impaired person if you feel they need help. If they want help they will ask and then they will tell you how they would like to be guided

Monday is the busiest day of the week. In the mornings I go to Perryfields PRU with Leia. Today we have been using the ladder and bean bags improving concentration and co ordination and also training through the Lisa Jacksons good citizen tests.
In the afternoon I go with Dakota to Pirton Grange specialist nursing home, where we work with people that have had brain injury, or illness. The people and staff there are amazing. Here we see the residents and do some activities where we can. the power of the connection with the dogs is amazing

This week has been busy with lots of things going on. I have seen two coaching clients this week and there have been 3 play barn sessions, so it's starting to pick up. I am here to help anyone with challenges in their lives so please reach out if you are struggling and do remember that I have the extra training in grief and loss. Busy day today. I had two coaching clients and then had to go to the vets. Poor Leia will have to have the cyst on her tail removed as it's grown a bit. she was not impressed with having the needle put in it either. reports to write as well so much for an easier week!!
