sorry for the copy and paste message! Sending to all my horsey friends! The time will come soon for us to start looking for a new pony to keep Bailey company, as Ted bear is off home next spring to be backed and become the superstar Ted that he absolutely will be although it will break our hearts to say goodbye 😞 Therefore it makes perfect sense, that we now look for a special unicorn for our girls. We are not fussy on age or looks (Im not anyway!) all i care about is that they are kind, safe, and will look after them. Nothing too small as we dont like saying goodbye! And as we spent all we had getting Bailey here, we are looking for a loan. The only other requirement is that they are not laminitic due to all the grass here, and they are easy going enough to cope with big boss bailey, who is never nasty, but likes to let everyone know shes in charge! We are starting to look now, as we dont want to be panic searching last minute. it has to be right, and i would like Bailey to get the chance to bond before our little mate leaves us! I should add, Ivy has her first pony club taster day this week. She is still very much on the lead rein but her confidence is gaining, so something that she can learn everything on and possibly do some pony club bits with in the future - something to help build her confidence and get her going if that makes sense -Thank you ###

Has anyone got a pony that is not sharp that they would lend to go to ponyclub camp w/c 3rd August for one of the Wyre Forrest ponyclub members. Sadly not got her pony and Lacy is too sharp to lend. Very kind gentle girl who would look after the pony as her own.

Has your child got Ponyclub camp coming up? Are they stressing about getting the white parts on their ponies clean for inspection? Are they stressing about stable stains? Are you or your kids going to camp this summer? Was your horse hot in the last heatwave? have you thought about having a clip to help them cope with all the extra workload.

Clipping means:

✂️They cope with the increased workload better as they don’t sweat up as fast!
✂️They don’t get so hot stood in stables
✂️They wash down quicker
✂️Grooming takes less time

It is an old wives tale that you can’t clip in the summer(check out the shine in these clipped summer coats.

Do your horse/pony a favour and shed the woolly jumper for something more athletic ahead of your camp/event! Bonus you can have fun artwork too (so long as your horse is happy to stand for it).

Once upon a time saturday nights were about hanging out with friends, care free and fun!

Now after working half a day I spent the other half bathing and plating a pony I am not riding, not getting paid for with a teenager who flits between wanting to help and not doing it as she only wants to do the fun bits!

The rest of the evening was spent fighting children to eat,bathe and go to bed (something my care free nights trying to get drunken friends to bed prepared me for 🤣🤣).

Late night trip to my sisters for Saddle soap as Isla has put it somewhere but god knows where, as it’s nowhere any normal human would put it!

So at gone midnight I have just finished cleaning tack that is not mine, I did not get dirty, won’t be using and am not being paid to clean! Got a white saddle pad out of the machine that has been washing for 2 hours because I did not store it on the floor and stand all over it but someone else did with size 6 feet and if I didn’t care that my business name is professional Turnout Services I might say tough wear it dirty but as I care about how my business is perceived here I am at nearly 1 am unwinding with a glass of squash ready to go to bed and get up at 6!
