Zeus.

The dog that’s been extremely tough to own, to be his guardian. It was a steep learning curve with you but how much you’ve taught me.

You taught me patience, a higher awareness of pain in dogs and its effects, about medication, behaviour modification, loose lead walking with a large strong and highly driven dog, being your dogs advocate, never to take risks, medical procedures, how to properly address early signs or reactiveness, that all dogs can bite when they hit their limit, how aggressiveness in dogs is viewed wrong by most of the world, how to muzzle train, that muzzles are amazing, you’re even the reason I got my job at Worcester dogs and became a dog trainer.

And now after the year I’ve had how you notice when I’m struggling and have all of a sudden become super affectionate. The times I’m crying and you sit in front of me and give me both your paws, as if you’re saying, “it’s ok dad”.

I love you boy. I love how you are now more accepting of the world and realising not all people are bad.

As hard as it’s been, I’m glad the universe made our paths cross. I couldn’t think of a more perfect dog that I’ve needed over the past 5 years to help me progress within the canine profession.

Forever grateful for who you are Zeus.

Swipe to the last pic to see Zeus as a Puppy! 2nd to last pic was the first day he came home and Kobe wasn’t too happy 😆❤️
