Packing up again to go dog sitting for the most gorgeous greyhound, Drummer in the Jewelry Quarter in Birmingham. 😀

When I go dog sitting in someone else's house I always take all my own food my own tea my own milk all I expect to be able to share is the odd dollop of condiment.... My own towels and toiletries and of course clothes. 🙂

When I leave I will leave the property exactly as I found it s***k and span... Whilst there I dedicate my entire day to caring for and spending time with the dogs in my care... It's such a privilege to be asked to look after someone's beloved pet and to live in their home as well, it's something I take seriously and not for granted.

I hope Anya and Tom have a wonderful holiday..🏖️🌊🩴

I still have very limited availability for 2026...feel free to get in touch if you are looking for a sitter for your dog and or other pets (BHS qualified and happy to care for horses, ponies, donkeys and goats, experienced chicken keeper, very experienced with guinea pigs, rabbits, rats, hamsters and birds... I'm also happy to travel. 😊

Lovely walk with Bryn this morning, it's much cooler today so we were both less tired out by the time we got home! 😩 😂

Now he's settled in for some serious snoozies, good job I've brought to book to read as Bryn doesn't seem to want to entertain me all day! 🤭

I've put off writing this post as it's been an incredibly hard decision...as of the end of October The Hound Lounge will be closing.😔

It's been so wonderful and I've got to know so many gorgeous hounds and their people but with my continuing health issues and the big increase in licence fees I just don't feel able to provide the sort of care your precious hounds deserve.🐕🐾🐕🐾🐕

Thank you to all our clients for putting your trust in us...I will be offering limited sighthound sitting in your home going forward so do feel free to contact me if that would suit you. 😊

If I had a shiny one pound coin for every sticky bud that I pulled out of this dog's coat I'd be a millionaire! 🤦
