This is what a group walk should look like.

8 dogs, minding their own business. Of course, sometimes they run, play and get excitable. But, the majority should be calm.

Low arousal, neutral behaviours, calmly co existing.

Carefully matched groups, based on temperament and age. The majority being older, calmer dogs with a small amount of higher energy dogs or younger dogs. All learning from each other. Learning social ques, boundaries and understanding appropriate behaviours.

The cute photos of the dogs running with flappy ears, or bolting around with their pals are nice to look at but make up 10% of what a group looks like with us.

Otto joined us today. Our 6th black lab on groups! I doubt the owners will be able to tell who’s who at this point 🤣🐶
