One of my regular little guests, gorgeous Nina the Poodle. 🐩❤️

When Nina first came to stay with me, she was quite a nervous and anxious little girl. But over time, as we’ve got to know each other, I’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching her gorgeous little personality come out.

Being an older girl, Nina is happiest when she’s curled up close beside me, soaking up all the cuddles. And if I dare to stop fussing her before she’s ready… she’ll simply paw at me until I carry on! 😂🥰

She loves her little walks, her cosy home-from-home, and most of all, knowing that she’s somewhere she feels safe and loved.

And honestly, this is one of the things I love most about what I do. It’s not just about looking after a dog while their family are away. It’s about building a relationship, getting to know their individual personality and helping them feel that my home is their second home. 🏡🐾

Watching that bond grow over time is such a special part of St Johns Walkies. ❤️

🐾 Just a few of my St Johns Walkies gang from this week 🐾

Another lovely week of walks with some very special faces. ❤️🐶

For me, dog walking has never been simply about picking up a dog, taking them for a walk and bringing them home. It’s about the relationship I build with each individual dog.

These aren’t just dogs on my walking list. I get to know their personalities, their little quirks and the things that make them happy. Some of these gorgeous faces have been with me for years, and the bond, trust and connection we’ve built together means so much to me. 🥰

I want every dog in my care to feel safe, understood and loved. They’re not just another number or another name in my diary — they’re a little part of St Johns Walkies. ❤️

Because for me, it’s always been about so much more than just the walk. 🐾❤️

🐾 Another fantastic couple of walks with the gang today! 🐾

It was lovely to have Buddy and Casper back from their holidays, and they were definitely ready to get stuck straight back into the fun! 😂🐶🐶

Both walks were full of happy dogs doing what they do best — sniffing, exploring, having a good old chase around and enjoying time together. There was plenty of fun and excitement, but also lots of those lovely calm moments where everyone is simply pottering along and enjoying being out. 🥰🌿

Every walk with St Johns Walkies is about more than just getting from A to B. I love exploring different places, discovering new trails, following those curious noses and letting the dogs enjoy being dogs. 🥰

Today was full of happy faces, interesting smells and plenty of exploring. They really do love their adventures! ❤️🐾

My boarders enjoy a cosy home-from-home, lots of love and attention, plenty of lovely walks, and all the comforts of being part of the family. 🏡🐶❤️

I only take a small number of dogs, so each one gets plenty of individual care and attention.

Home boarding where your dog can relax, feel safe and enjoy their holiday too! 🐾💕

🌧️ I never thought I’d say this… but I’m LOVING the rain! 😂

After weeks of sunshine and heat, the fields have become more straw than grass, so this rain has been very welcome indeed! 🌾☔️ The land is drinking it up, the grass is crying out for it, and I’m pretty sure the dogs are enjoying the cooler temperatures too. 🐾💦

I’ve somehow managed to get through those hot summer days by adapting our walks and always putting the dogs’ comfort first. ❤️

And now I’m looking forward to cooler days, wetter fields and hopefully some lovely green grass again! 🌱

Welcome back, British weather — I’ve missed you! 😂☔️
