Beautiful girl for training this morning. Lovely nature but just a bit wilful. Steady start but very early days, lots of work on her focus going forward.

Just popping a quick video on here of a clients dog. She has asked me before if I could do a video but I'm usually too busy and also pretty hopeless with the camera 😀.
This lad has come on leaps and bounds, actually does a lot more than the snippet shown.
It's a genuine blind , even his handler had no idea where it was.
The only instruction I gave was to keep the dog left of the path. In addition, his previous 3 or 4 retrieves had been over to the right , so he needed to listen.

A change from the Gundog breeds this morning, this delightful little chap. Good as gold 😀

And another young lab. This one came to me because he pulls like a husky. Owner wasn't joking either, he's a strong boy. With " selective" recall thrown in he just needed to learn how to focus and we worked on that. Great improvement in an hour with some nice steady work. Lovely young dog that gave his all 😀

Did some basic foundation work with this young lady today. To be fair her basics werent bad to start with, just a bit of tweaking and emphasising certain aspects. Lovely natural retriever, loves life, just like pups should.
All in all a good quality session with a delightful pup, what's not to like ? 😀

Two new ones this morning before it got too warm. Different breeds, different characters, same energy and willingness to learn. Both improved their focus dramatically and made it a very enjoyable sunny morning
