Meet Marta - one of our veterinary surgeons here at Medivet Woodstock🩺

Originally from the beautiful Basque Country, Marta qualified as a vet in Zaragoza Spain and subsequently joined us here at Medivet in January 2025🙌🏻

When not here caring for patients, you can find Marta playing rugby, getting lost in a good book or enjoying a lovely sunset walk🌅

When in uniform, Marta’s heart belongs to surgery & dental procedures as there’s nothing quite like seeing a patient feeling better afterwards!🦷

We all love having Marta here!🥰

Did you know that it’s a legal requirement for cats to be microchipped? 🐱

We’ve recently had an influx of non-microchipped cats being brought into our care, so we thought now would be the perfect time for a little reminder! 🤍

mMcrochipping is one of the simplest and most effective ways of helping your cat find their way home if they ever go missing🏡🐾

A tiny chip can make a huge difference — if your cat is found, we can scan their chip and provided your contact details are up to date, reunite them with you as quickly as possible🥰

if you need to get any of your pets booked in to be microchipped you can call us on 01993 811355 or alternatively via email at [email protected]☎️

Cimbora🧡

This very cute pup came to see us for their first health check this morning and passed with flying colours!🙌🏻

Being very well behaved they got away with nothing other than his first dose of flea and worming treatment in order to keep the pesky parasites at bay🦠 as well as some very well deserved treats🦴

Gizmo🥰

Last week, little Gizmo came in to see us for his dental procedure and routine blood tests🩺

During his dental, we found two wobbly teeth that needed to be removed🦷

We’re happy to say he’s recovered really well and is now back to his happy self and chewing on anything he can get his paws (and mouth) on🤭

Meet Squish!🐰🧡

Squish visited us last week for a much needed groom and de-mat after his beautiful long coat had become tightly knotted🐾

Did you know rabbits need regular grooming too? 💇🏼‍♀️
Especially long-haired breeds! A quick 5–10 minute groom each day helps prevent painful mats, keeps their coat in great condition, and ensures they’re comfortable and happy - particularly during the warmer months☀️

We’re so pleased to say Squish left us feeling much more comfortable, mat-free and one very happy bunny!❤️🐰

Meet Cleo 🖤

Cleo came to see us a couple of weeks ago after noticing a lump on one of her toes 🐾

She underwent a procedure to have the lump removed, and we’re pleased to say she’s made a fantastic recovery!💕

Fully healed, Cleo is back to her happy, playful self and enjoying life without that pesky lump getting in the way🥰
