A slightly disappointing post to have to write.

At approximately 3.30pm yesterday, Sunday, a gentleman came into the Worly Hub, picked up three pieces of Martha’s Magic home baking and left without paying for them.

The Hub is covered by CCTV, so we have a clear record of what happened.

Martha is only 12 and has been really excited about starting her little baking venture, making everything herself and trusting people to pay using the honesty pot.

If this was you, please just come back and put the money in the pot. No fuss, no embarrassment — just do the right thing.

Stealing is never OK, but taking from a 12-year-old who is having a go at something new is particularly disappointing. 😔

We’d much rather this was simply put right and we can leave it there.

Thank you to everyone else who has supported Martha so far — she really does appreciate every purchase. ❤️

The evenings may be drawing in, but that doesn’t mean the game has to stop

The Sports Barn is indoors and open until 10pm, so you can enjoy an evening pickleball match whatever the light or weather outside.

Paddles and balls are available to borrow—just bring your playing partner and clean trainers.”

Something new at the Worly Hub! 🧁

We’re now stocking Martha’s Magic Home Baking — freshly homemade treats available to pick up from the Hub.

On the menu:
Flapjack £1.50 • Shortbread £1.50 • Rocky Road £2.00
Or any 3 pieces for £4.50

Why not make a proper treat of it? Grab a coffee or hot chocolate to go with your bake, or pick something up from the vending machine.

And if you’re heading over for a game of pickleball at the Sports Barn, the Worly Hub is perfect for a drink and a treat before or after your game.

Pop in and give Martha’s Magic a try — we might be slightly biased, but it’s rather good! 😋
