DONT BE THIS GUY. please pay small businesses.
So I receive a call, could I walk 2 dogs for 90 mins on a saturday. Normally no, I dont work weekends but the guy was stuck, he was travelling here for a wedding and needed the dogs out before their room was ready.
I confirmed the night before, next day get there early, message but no answer. Thought he could be driving. Message again about 15 mins later, he sees this but again no answer. After waiting over 30 mins I message again saying im off.
He then messages me claiming someone "identical" to me has got his dogs and was that not me?
Well im sorry but the first thing you do is introduce yourself or ask "hi are you Ceri" and at this point he had already seen my texts stating I was waiting and where was he etc.
Why would you hand over your dogs to someone you havnt spoken to.
He then states he would pay me for my time.
This did not happen.
I wait till Monday and ask if everything worked out and a gentle reminder about payment.
He said yes. The groom had arranged a walker without telling him??? And he would pay.
Still no payment.
Very odd situation. If he messaged before, literally even 5 mins before I set off then that would have been 1000 times better than this. I wasted petrol and because this was mid day I wasted what was going to be a day out with my son.
Don't lie, if you dont need me, cancel.
