We would like to bring to your attention the ongoing risks associated with Equine Influenza (Equine Flu), a highly contagious respiratory disease, and remind all horse owners the importance of remaining vigilant.
This is to protect the health and welfare of their horses and the wider equine community.

We are kindly asking all those who are attending our venue to follow the guidance below.

Please Ensure ALL HORSES vaccinations are current and compliant. Passports MUST accompany your horse
ANNUAL VACCINATIONS REQUIRED

Any horses that are NOT vaccinated are not permitted on site and unfortunately will be asked to leave

Passports should be carried at all times and will be checked, none compliance will result in competitors being asked to leave site.
Please see Ann with your passports for checking before unloading your horse or send us a photocopy of your passport and vaccination records

All horse owners have a responsibility to ensure they help reduce the risk of spread amongst the wider equine community.
Please Do Not visit any venues if your horse or any horses on your yard show any viral signs or symptoms, or are unwell in anyway.

Horses should be returned to their box between classes and not be held or congregated in groups in or around the facilities.
Please do not leave your horses outside your boxes unless tacking up or washing off.

Horses are not permitted to hand graze in any areas of the venue.

Competitors are advised to keep their distance from others.

Do not share tack or equipment.

Please DO NOT allow any direct contact with any horses in fields/ stables, and warm up arena

Maintaining high standards of vigilance and biosecurity is essential to protecting ALL HORSES within the equine community.

If it’s easier for you to send a photo of your vaccination record prior to competition day ,you can either send a photo on messenger, text or email Ann.

Please remember if your horse shows any symptoms please do not attend.
