Here is a project completed late last year. As a construction project for a family with a child who needed a ground floor bedroom and wash room, the challenge was providing single storey extensions without appearing excessive. The subtle change in materials and nod to the original black timber clad outbuildings, provide a design that respects the original cottage and celebrates the historic barn.
