Last night, I went out to collect 4 kittens age 4 weeks old and thankfully the mother cat had returned after not been seen for 2 weeks. This little family is now in the safe hands of one of our wonderful fosters, where they will be loved and be able to thrive.

I haven’t slept all night worried about the situation where these cats came from. A lady had 20 cats in her house and the landlord evicted her, she left the cats behind and the landlord released the cats out of the house. The cats have started to breed and it’s right next to a busy road and the cats and kittens are being run over. If that’s not bad enough, the person who rang me, who is deeply concerned about these cats, said they had found cats decapitated and 1 with its lower jaw hanging off. Is some sick person harming these cats because the area is overrun with strays?

I haven’t got the space nor the funds to take on all these cats, but I’m sure as hell not walking away from this situation. I’m going back tonight to start trapping some more cats.
