POV… Beatrice the 6-month-old Rottie 🩷🐾

Beatrice has been coming to us since she was a tiny puppy to build her confidence in the water, as she’s soon going to be living on a narrowboat with her dad! 🚤

As you can see, she’s taken to it SO well! 🥹

We use toys as motivation and then hand the toy to the dog, rather than encouraging repetitive fetching from the water line. This is a much safer way to use toys around the pool and helps us keep their swimming sessions controlled and purposeful. 🐾

Hopefully, she won’t be mistaking canals for a hydrotherapy pool anytime soon! 😂🚤🩷

We have had a very sturdy foldable ramp donated to us if anyone would like it. It will be perfect for a large dog with mobility issues who needs help getting in and out of the car. The lovely lady who gave it to us has just asked that whoever has it, gives a donation to the Border Collie Trust.

Good morning guys! We hope you had a great weekend.
Just a quick update, Bath Street is still closed despite notices saying it will be closed until 31/07 so please continue to go the alternative route.

We have a couple of early morning pool slots available tomorrow and Thursday if anyone would like one.
We have turned our pool temperature and shower temp down. We also have an air conditioning unit inside our pool room so we can keep your dogs as cool as possible (also providing you have air conditioning in your car)

☀️ Weather update ☀️
As we are in for a very hot few days, we will be contacting anyone who is booked in past 2pm from tomorrow to rearrange your appointment. We are going to be starting much earlier to try and accommodate people who are working and may want to come before work before it gets too warm!
We will be contacting anyone who this applies to but please feel free to get in touch sooner if you’d prefer ☺️

Morning guys!
From today until 31/07 Bath Street is closed again. Everyone who is booked in during this time should have received an email with instructions.
This is just a reminder that to get to us you need to come via the Black Country route and turn left as if you’re turning into Morrisons and then do your immediate left. The road will bring you round and we will be on your left side (see map with my wonderful editing!) If you put WV14 0ST into google maps then it should pick this up and bring you the correct way.
The road closed signs coming to us from this way make it look like the whole road is closed but it isn’t, it’s just the bend on Bath Street where the building development is.

What do jelly beans and lasers have in common? 🫘✨

Mitochondria!

Okay, not exactly… but mitochondria do look a bit like jelly beans, and they give you energy 😆.

When stimulated by specific wavelengths of light, mitochondria can increase ATP production, giving cells the energy they need to repair, recover and function more effectively.

Jelly beans = mitochondria.
Lasers = mitochondrial stimulation.
Energy = ATP. ⚡️

Science is pretty sweet.

Part of Bath Street is closed off. You can’t access us from the island but you can off the dual carriageway by Morrisons! The sign placement makes it look like you can’t access the road but you can!

Hey guys!
We are having problems replying to emails from our main email accounts. Please can you email [email protected] and for any insurance claims, please can you ask your insurer to email this address as I cannot respond to links to complete claims sent from insurers. We are working on sorting this but it’s proving more difficult than we first thought!
