A lovely update on Lily now Squiggles. Looking very happy in her home 😊

I just wanted to share another update on Squiggles—she has settled into life in the house beautifully!

She’s found a new best friend in one of our other cats, and she makes sure everyone knows exactly where she is at all times, with chaos never far behind her.

Her lovely, caring, and wonderfully crazy personality is really shining through. She’s also developed quite an expensive taste in food, which she insists she’s earned by "helping" me work every day!

We couldn't imagine the house without her now, and we're so grateful she's become such a happy, loved little member of the family.

A lovely update on Pepper. Very happy in her home😊

We adopted Pepper (Rescue centre name Alice) back on 5/12/25, having fallen in love with her on our first meeting on 30/11/25. She is a cross terrier / cross Colley which means plenty of energy and intelligence and some stubbornness and a love of slippers and shoe laces.

A lovely update on Pumpkin. Very happy in her home 😊

Just a little update about Pumpkin as she turned 1 earlier in July!

She is doing very well, and has become an affectionate and very chatty companion. She gets on well with Fuji, our other cat, too.

KITTENS OF THE WEEK 🐱

Our 10 little cuties are now available 🐱the stars of our Tuesday Treat.

These adorable kittens are the result of accidental litters - the mums are now neutered to stop this happening again!

They are all very friendly, happy, mischievous little darlings, a lot of fun to watch their playful antics!

They have only every known life with other feline friends, so we would like to home them in pairs - or if to go singly, to go with a kind, friendly, feline companion.

Best be quick as these little cuties are going to be very popular indeed.

DOG OF THE WEEK 🐶

Harvey and Bella are now available for adoption 😊
They are looking for a home together. Harvey is 7 years and Bella is nearly 5 years old.

Bella & her father Harvey have very sadly come to us because their owner has died.
They are very attached to each other and are so easy to manage together, we are looking for a home together for them.
They have been much loved companions and are very sweet and friendly dogs who have been very well cared for.
They both really enjoy their walks and their cuddles - they are the perfect ready made doggie family!
They both need some dental treatment which will be done by DBARC very soon, then they will be ready to move in to their new home.
They are sure to bring a lot of love and happiness to their new owner as they obviously gave to their previous owner.

Earlier this year we were very sad to hear of the passing of Tv celebrity Ted who was adopted from DBARC.
In his honour his loving owner has made a wonderful donation to DBARC which will enable us to have a dedicated grooming room- really more like a dog spa!
So many of our dogs come to us a serious state of neglect, even often needing lots of medicated baths to restore their health.
Thank you Ted for helping us to improve their welfare 😊

A lovely update on Carrot. Very happy in his home 😊

Yesterday marked the first month Carrot’s been living with us. He’s been the most amazing and cuddly cat, despite surprisingly not as food motivated as we thought. He’s given us so much love and affection so just wanted to say thank you for the opportunity to let us adopt him. Sharing some photos of him, hope you’ll enjoy them as we did!
