It dawned on me today that handsome Dexter the Goldendoodle has been coming to me since my very early weeks opening The Groomery almost 2 and a half years ago, but has never been on my social media!

He’s always such a pleasure to groom, the only problem is as he’s so big my table is low to the ground and I end up with hairy knees! 🤣

It was quite a transformation for Max the Border Terrier. Due to a prolonged injury for him and some diary challenges on my behalf, he was quite overdue by the time he came for his groom today. He went home looking like a different dog! 😍

Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas from me and also from Chester, my last dog of 2025!

I’m absolutely exhausted but I’m going to have a relaxing break with the family and I’ll be back on the 5th January, ready and raring to go for another year of the job I love!

I’d like to say a huge thank you to all my wonderful clients. I’m so lucky to have all you and I really am grateful for your continued support this year. I look forward to seeing you in 2026!

It’s fair to say that not all dogs particularly like to be groomed, however this lovely boy Apollo absolutely loves a groom! He bounds up the path into The Groomery and I have to make sure I’ve lowered the table in preparation for his arrival as he always jumps straight onto it (regardless of how high it is!🤣🤦‍♀️)
