Oh my goodness this boy. This is Louie, a 5 year old rescued mixed breed and the most gentle of souls. Today was bath and deshed (which he really needed as he was shedding like crazy!) as well as another session with the Emmipet ultrasonic teeth cleaning šŸŖ„ Today Louie let me do that little bit more than last time and heā€™s definitely more comfortable with the process thanks to the work his Dad is doing at home to get him more comfortable having his teeth done. What a star and I canā€™t wait to see him again in October even though itā€™s four months away šŸ˜

Thank you so much for all the well wishes. I still have five weeks to go in this boot and itā€™s already very frustrating and yes, I know, doing itā€™s job of helping me heal as well.

To those clients I have had to postpone I am truly sorry. Itā€™s been a rough year so far and hopefully things will start to heal and Iā€™ll feel better. At this point Iā€™m managing at the most 2 or 3 grooms a day compared to my previous 5/6 or 7. I have a truly fabulous bathing assistant and with her help Iā€™m taking it each day at a time and reassessing accordingly.

Nail health is a top priority for me so keep asking for the nail trim appointments especially as Iā€™m off to Canada at the end of the month.

Reach out if you have any questions but rest assured Iā€™m doing all I can to fit everyone in before I go.

This is my friend Bob. Heā€™s a 7 year old Korthal Griffon and today was his first handstrip with me šŸ‘‹šŸ» He was a perfect gentleman and both his owner and I are very pleased with the result. Heā€™s only had one handstrip before and with the summer ahead heā€™ll feel so much better with all that dead coat out. Isnā€™t he stunning? šŸ˜ I definitely think so!

Hi everyone,
Just to let you know Iā€™ve fractured my right ankle (while out on a walk Saturday morningšŸ˜”) and now in a boot for up to 6 weeks. Right now I need rest and Iā€™ll reassess in a few days once the pain subsides. Some things I can do while sitting and will attempt these as best I can. Iā€™ll be in touch if and when I need to rearrange.

5 year old Reggie and 10 year old Eddie are little angels and real fun to spend time with. UpdatešŸ‘‰šŸ» It doesnā€™t look like much but gosh it hurts. They couldnā€™t stitch it as I had cut away too much skin and they couldnā€™t close the gap so itā€™s stripped and bandaged and Iā€™m not allowed to bend it or get it wet for a few weeks. Now how is that possible with my job you ask? Thereā€™s lots I can still do (like handstripping and teeth cleaning) and Iā€™m going to be creative in how I go forward the next few weeks. Iā€™ll be in touch with those clients I may need to cancel or move. If youā€™re willing to come and bathe your own dog that may work too! Seriously this isnā€™t shaping up to be my year just yetā€¦.šŸ‘ˆ
