Meet George.
As you can see, our beautiful George arrived with us in a rather sorry state.
Not only is he desperately underweight and suffering from painful wounds to his feet, but, heartbreakingly, his beautiful feathered coat has been shaved off, leaving him exposed and vulnerable. π
Despite everything he has been through, George is an absolute gentleman. He has slotted into our little SV family as though he has always belonged here and is already lapping up all the love, fuss and attention he so deserves.
This sweet boy is so much more than the cruelty he has endured, and we refuse to let the vile actions of those who treated him so badly define the rest of his life.
Already, we can see George beginning to heal, both physically and emotionally. His beautiful spirit is shining through, his heart is full of love, and his zest for life is still very much alive. His coat will grow back in time, but the kindness and care he is receiving now will help him leave his awful past where it belongs.
