s your cat a serial furball offender... Or have they never left you a hairy gift on your floor? 🐱🧶

Our very own CVS Feline Medicine Specialist, Dr Sam Taylor is supporting The Fur Report, a worldwide study looking at hairballs, grooming habits and feline wellbeing.

Researchers want to hear from cat owners aged 18+, whether hairballs are a regular occurrence or something they have never seen!

When does your pet officially become a senior?

Our pets can start showing signs of ageing at different stages depending on their species, size and breed - but becoming a senior doesn’t mean they have to slow down!

Regular health checks can help spot age-related changes early and make sure your pet stays happy, comfortable and healthy throughout their golden years.

Bringing home a new puppy comes with lots of exciting firsts - including their first walk! 🐾

Generally, puppies can start going out for walks once they’ve completed their primary vaccination course and your vet has confirmed they’re protected enough to explore safely.

Your vet can advise you on the right time for your individual puppy based on their vaccination schedule and local disease risks.

Ready for your kitten’s first adventure outdoors?
Letting your kitten explore outside for the first time is an exciting milestone, but it’s important to make sure they’re ready for the big adventure.

Before heading out, make sure your kitten is:
✅ Fully vaccinated
✅ Microchipped and registered
✅ Neutered or spayed
✅ Protected against fleas, ticks and worms

For their first few outings, choose a quiet time, stay nearby and let them explore at their own pace. Keeping the first adventures short can help them build confidence and learn their way around safely.

Is your kitten ready for their first outdoor adventure? 🐾

It’s time for the Pet School Report! 📚🐾

If your pet were getting a school report, what would they be excellent at… And where would they need improvement? 👀

Is your dog top of the class for recall but needs to work on their lead walking? Or is your cat an expert at getting their own way but needs improvement in sharing the sofa? 😂

Tell us your pet’s school report in the comments! 👇
