Rhinos love to wallow in water and mud - it helps cool them down, protects their skin, and keeps them comfortable when the sun is out. 🤎

It’s a double celebration today for and ! 🦜🌿

After the recent hot weather, the bongo herd have been enjoying some cooling enrichment to help them stay comfortable - and it’s safe to say baby Zari was a big fan! 💦💚

Did you know the Park is also home to some incredible colourful macaws? Today, our keepers are selling World Parrot Trust wristbands to help raise funds for these amazing parrots and their conservation on their special day.

If you’re visiting today, keep your eyes peeled for the activities happening around the Park and come say hello to our feathered friends! 🦜✨

Happy World Sea Lion Day! 🌊☀️

Today we’re taking a moment to appreciate the wonderful California sea lion - playful, curious, clever, and always full of personality. 🦭

The girly trio of Kira, Leoni and Gala have been loving basking in the sunshine this past week, so naturally we put together a compilation of their most elegant moves, graceful spins, and sun-soaked dance routines. We think they’ve perfected the art of the sea lion waltz! ✨

🦦 Happy World Otter Day! 🦦

Did you know Woburn is home to a wonderful group of Asian short-clawed otters? These semi-aquatic otters love to swim, forage for food, and snuggle together as a close-knit family unit. Known for being incredibly social and intelligent, they’re always entertaining to watch - whether they’re interacting with enrichment, splashing around in the water, searching for food rewards, or simply relaxing together. ♥️

Sadly, Asian short-clawed otters are officially listed as Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List. Their populations are declining due to rapid habitat destruction, water pollution, illegal poaching, and the exotic pet trade.

That’s why days like World Otter Day are so important, helping to raise awareness and support conservation efforts to protect this amazing species for the future! ✨
