šŸŽƒšŸŽ†Halloween & Fireworks night are fast approaching. It's time to get prepped and ready.

There are many different types of products to help your pets feel calmer over the spooky season. These include plug-in pheromones and herbal supplements or stronger anti-anxiety medications.

Many natural calming aids take up to 2 weeks to build up in your pet's system and reach full effectiveness. Starting early ensures they are fully relaxed before the loud noises begin. Anti-anxiety medications will usually require a check with a vet before they can be prescribed.

If you have any concerns about your pet's anxiety or need advice on calming support, please call us to speak to a member of our team šŸŽƒšŸŽ†

Shauna joined our team in February 2026. She's been qualified for 4 years and had previously worked in both charity and private practices. Inka was in yesterday and I'm not surprised that Shauna couldn't resist the opportunity for a cuddle with her!

We had a great time yesterday at the Alvescot Fun Dog Show! Nikki was there to provide the treats and Sarah and Sam were on hand to provide free dental checks for the dogs. We met lots of gorgeous dogs (and their lovely owners) and one of Nikki's dogs even brought home 2 rosettes!

Early diagnosis. Faster treatment šŸ„

We’re supported by modern equipment that helps us find answers quickly and accurately.

All this means faster diagnosis, clearer next steps, and specialist care when it’s needed. Because when your pet isn’t well, it matters that the teams you trust have the tools they need.

Jessica started at the practice in 1995 as a recently qualified nurse. She progressed to Head Nurse, then Deputy Practice Manager and has been Practice Manager for the last 5 years. Jessica is responsible for a huge number of administrative and managerial tasks that keep the practice (and the team!) running.

She and Lauren are responsible for coordinating our RCVS Practice Standards Scheme accreditation. We have just had notification through that we have successfully passed our latest inspection! šŸŽ‰ After our previous inspection, we went on to apply for further awards in 'Client Service' and 'Team and Professional Responsibility' and achieved outstanding in both.
