Rosie was keen to get on to her pasture today (short spell after the winter turn out).
She was so excited - 17h of enthusiastic tank is interesting 😂
What did I do? Nothing!
I use a long rope so she was facing me but bucking on the spot - that's fine, Rosie, but do it over there👍
How many people would try controlling this situation by shortening the rope, carry on trying to turn out, yell etc?
That just punishes your horse for being excited and breaks trust.
Of course, keeping you both safe is paramount.
Just wait it out and let them calm down and think (they need help to learn this) .
There you go, Rosie. Fill your face for an hour or so 🫶
