I am lucky to have over 10 years experience working with cats, 5 of those years as the cattery manager at a local animal sanctuary. More recently I have experience working at Meadows Cattery in Felton, a well established, busy and reputable boarding cattery. I have a BSc in Animal Behaviour & Welfare and more recent qualifications and training in:
● Certificate in Pet First Aid
● Diploma in Felin
e First Aid
● Diploma in Feline Behaviour & Psychology
● Diploma Understanding Feline Anxiety Disorder
● Diploma in Veterinary Assistant
● Diploma in Pet Bereavement Counsellor
I have a breadth of knowledge and understanding around feline behaviour, health and and welfare. I have spent much time working with different breeds and personalities of cats and I am experienced in administering a variety of medications. I have 7 rescue cats that live happily together in a multi-cat household >^..^<
I also volunteer for the Blue Cross as a Pet Bereavement Support Service Volunteer to help support people with the loss of a pet. I will gather as much information about your feline friend before the booking so that I know exactly how to make them as stress free and happy as possible while they’re in my care. I can do this via a questionnaire, a courtesy call or even a meet and greet, whichever works best for both of us. Each visit will be for 30 minutes where I will provide food, fresh water and change litter trays. I will spend time with your favourite feline/s providing company, cuddles and play time. I’ll send you daily updates including pictures, helping you to relax knowing your cat is in the best of hands. Any special or additional requirements such as administering medication would need to be discussed and may carry an additional surcharge if the time needed goes over 30 minutes. I can stay for longer periods if needed and even potentially overnight stays, however these would also both carry an additional cost. If you are interested in overnight stays, please contact me before booking as my availability might not be the same for overnight stays as for daily visits. I have experience with most other pets including dogs, rabbits, rodents, fish, birds, reptiles and amphibians and am therefore happy to offer my sitting service to these, please contact me beforehand to discuss as some might carry a small additional cost. Cat Sitting: 1 visit of 30 minutes £13, 2 visits one of 30 minutes and one of 20 minutes £23. Nail Trimming: £10
Hygiene Trim: £10
Full Body Groom and Matt Removal from: £20
Again we can discuss these requirements at the meet and greet prior to the booking. I will also come and administer flea and worm treatment for a single charge of £10. This is a technique where animals self-medicate by selecting plant remedies to ingest or apply. Great results are seen in behavioural issues and some medical conditions. Treatments range from £20-40 per session. Please contact me to discuss if you are interested. I have full insurance and have a DBS check.
