Ex uni brat and the mad scientist FINALLY came back from their holiday. In an attempt to make it up to me for being away for sooooo long, they took me on a special walk. In order to do so ex uni brat dressed me up in my bandana! Seemed a bit unnecessary as I am already THE most beautiful beagle in the world. There were too many geese sat in the park for my liking so I showed them the way into the river. Unfortunately, I also ended up in the river but luckily no one really saw 😏 Obviously the humans couldn’t help themselves from stopping at the pub but at least the bar staff know how to properly treat beagles and came over with treats for me ! Maybe I quite like this river walk and pub life 🤔😂

Let me set the scene….. Walker woman rudely drags me out of my slumber to head off for our morning walk. 5.15 am, but not raining for a change! We are slowly wandering round the park when I hear WW start muttering non caffeinated nonsense… Then she starts laughing… at ME! Apparently the mumbling was her saying “please don’t see them, please don’t see them, for the love of god please don’t let her see them”…. Only then does she inform me that 2 foxes were strolling down the road and had seen me…. They froze, stood stock still for approx. 20 seconds before looking at each other, almost shrugging at each other, saying “it’s ok, that one must be defective” , then moved away swiftly into cover of darkness…. The hysterical laughter from ww was probably related to the lack of caffeine, BUT Defective???? I was distracted by sniffing a very important blade of grass that I had only sniffed 5 times this morning! Hummmpffff, well I shall sleep of my strop on the sofa while she has to go to work! Last laugh is on me!
