Lots of people were asking at the weekend what the Amazon Rainforest was like. I've still got loads of animal specific videos and photos to share, but I thought I would give you an insight into what going camping and herping in the Amazon is like. It's not for the faint of heart. It's a very tough and hostile environment. I have nothing but respect for the people and communities who live there permanently. Just being there for a couple of weeks was exhausting. We had an amazing time herping, but if I had to sum up the general environment in a single sentence it would be "Rivers, Rain and Creepy Crawlies" the Amazon Rainforest certainly had an abundance of all of these. ゚viralシ
