At Asisters Community Club, it’s about so much more than just an afternoon out. It’s about bringing people together, creating friendships, sharing laughter, and making memories that matter.

From games and activities to tea, cake, singing, and plenty of smiles, our club continues to grow as a welcoming place where everyone feels valued, connected, and supported.

A huge thank you to all of our wonderful members, volunteers, carers, families, and local supporters who make our Community Club such a special part of the local community.

We are incredibly proud of the friendships formed, the confidence built, and the joy shared at every session.

We tried something new at the club this month - Pokeno! ♠️❤️

Safe to say, it was a hit. Lots of laughter, a bit of healthy competition, and yes… a fair bit of cheeky gift stealing going on 🎁

It’s moments like this we love the most, everyone chatting, laughing, getting involved, and just enjoying being together 💙

And honestly… Caroline is just amazing. She really puts her heart into our community club, and it shows in everything she does. This month she made a gorgeous gammon ploughman’s, plus a lemon drizzle and a rhubarb crumble cheesecake… all homemade and absolutely delicious 🍰

We’re so proud of what this little club is becoming. It’s simple, but it means a lot.

Pokeno will definitely be making a return!

We can’t quite believe it, our first full year in the new office 🤍

Thank you, honestly, for everything.

It’s been an incredible year, full of special moments, even our blue and white launch day with white strawberries and blueberries.

Putting this reel together made us reflect on how proud we are, not just of the business, but of each other. The song really reflects what we hear from our customers every day…
“Where did all the time go? The years went fast, but the days went slow…”

Our office has become more than we imagined, a little community hub. A place for advice, support, and connection, a free space for charities, and open to local businesses to use our digital signage.

We’ve got so many exciting ideas ahead and can’t wait for year two.

This year’s theme is “Building Carer Friendly Communities” — something we feel incredibly passionate about 💛

At Asisters, we know just how much carers give, often quietly, selflessly, and without enough recognition. So during Carers Week, we want to do something special to say thank you to the amazing carers in our local community 🌸
