Wee Molly's Pals Dog Training and Pet Services

Wee Molly's Pals Dog Training and Pet Services June is a qualified dog training and behaviour coach, accredited by several education bodies. Do ask! My name is June Eaglesham.

I left a 23 year career in Social Housing in 2014 in order to become a dogwalker/pet carer etc - it was the right time for me and my family supported me through this massive change in lilfestyle etc. In summer 2016, I decided it was time to fully branch out on my own. I had already been training and educating myself on canine behaviour and psychology, now I wanted to be properly qualifed and be ab

le to really get to know the dog and guardian that I was dealing with, to help form plans to help them move forward together. The dog is at the centre of everything I do and my training allows the guardian to see their dog on a deeper level - this is essential to me. Every time a dog 'misbehaves', he is actually trying to tell you something or doesn't understand what you're trying to tell him. What you get from me, apart from experience and reliability is a genuine love for animals of all types. We have our wee dog Molly, a Cavapoo and gorgeous Shadow the rough collie, who joined us in June 20. We also have 2 cats - Darwin, the ginger ninja, and Lottie the Maine C**n. I am fully insured and licensed and have been trained in Canine First Aid. I am qualified and accredited with the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers, INTODogs, Canine Principles, National Institute for Canine Ethics, Pet Industry Advocacy International and the International Companion Animal Network and working towards being an ACE Trainer I also study with HeartDog Trainers, specialising in reactivity. I have been awarded the Scottish Enterprise Awards Best Ethical Dog & Owner Training and Behaviour Coach (West Lothian) 2023.

Hi all

Just to let you know that I'm afraid the business is closed.

I'm battling a particularly nasty autoimmune disease, systemic scleroderma. It affects every part of the body - skin, muscle, tissue, organs, arteries, blood vessels and more.

Not easy news to share, but the fight is on! Good luck vibes please.

In 2021, I survived attempts from people who lied, spread rumours and sabotaged my business, which affected my mental health massively - I will be truthful here, as it's a very important topic to discuss. These people knew I was struggling, that I was literally suicidal, and had been for some time. This devastated me. I had missed social cues, comments and alarm bells. I felt useless and worthless.

Very soon after, I was hospitalised. I suffered what turns out to have been severe autistic burnout combined with C-PTSD breakdown. I am very late diagnosed AuDHD. This had caused my mood to spiral and become overwhelmed very quickly. My chronic anxiety worsened, imposter syndrome kicked in. Severe brainfog kicked in. πŸ™„

Unfortunately, this also coincided with my mobility deteriorating (again...). I have FND, fibromyalgia, severe osteoarthritis in my back, hypermobility. This has all caused weakened joints and my left ankle (talonavicular joint) has pretty much left the building. I suffer a lot of nerve pain.

All of this caused me to lose confidence, postpone appointments, and ultimately, closing the business as I felt that I was letting people down.

I don't write this for sympathy, it's accountability and has been a journey of finding my authentic self under 50 years of unknowingly masking and not understanding why I never fitted in! I know many thousands of women (and men) are discovering their neurodivergence much later in life. It's huge and the effects can't be underestimated. Unmasking leaves you very open and vulnerable, and you may find you need support where you used to carry on regardless, ignoring everything the mind-body was telling you.

I have a new direction too. As a lived experience neurodivergent with complex trauma, I have been researching and studying myself, books, courses - everything! I am writing a book about my life experiences and also training to be a neurodivergence coach.

My page is Inner Spectrum - June Eaglesham (apologies, it's not allowing me to link it). Please feel free to join the page as I try to break down myths and offer facts. I will offer practical support.
