Greenfields Pet Cremation Greenfields Pet cremation is a family run business based in Wimborne, Dorset. All pets are cremated individually and are returned with a cremation certificate.

We promise to always treat your pet like our own, with compassion, dignity and respect from the moment we collect them, to the moment we hand deliver them back to you. Collection & Delivery
Your cherished pet can be collected free of charge from your home or veterinary centre within a 5 mile radius of Corfe Mullen, Dorset. Collection outside the 5 mile radius can be arranged at an additional charge. Reflection Room
We understand how difficult it can be to say your final goodbye. As part of the service, you have the opportunity to use our reflection room, a tranquil area for quiet contemplation where you are welcome to spend as much time as you need to say goodbye to your pet. Our staff are available to sit with you or you can be left in private, dependant upon your wishes. Other pets are welcome to visit and say goodbye by arrangement. Jewellery
We offer a beautiful and bespoke ashes into jewellery range crafted by our very own talented jeweller. Your special memorial piece will be designed and created incorporating the ashes from your beloved pet with a special resin available in a choice of colours, giving an ashes into glass like finish. A range of options are available including rings, necklaces and cuff links. Please visit our website for further details and pricing or contact us via telephone or email.

🐾 Why Pet Grief Can Come in Waves

One of the hardest things about losing a pet is how grief can catch you completely off guard.

You might have a few days where you're feeling a little better, and then suddenly something brings it all back.

Finding an old toy, hearing a familiar sound, walking past their favourite sleeping spot, or simply coming home and remembering they're not there to greet you.

Sometimes it's the smallest things that bring the biggest tears.

Grief doesn't follow a timetable, and it certainly doesn't mean you're going backwards when you have a difficult day. It's perfectly normal to miss them more on some days than others, even months or years later.

If you're having one of those days, be gentle with yourself. Those little moments are reminders of just how much they were part of your life.

Sending love to anyone missing their furry friend today. 🤍

🐾 A little introduction for our new followers…

We’ve had some new faces join our page recently, so I thought it would be a lovely time to introduce Greenfields Pet Cremation and what I do here. 💚

I offer private pet cremations in Dorset, giving families the time, care and space they need to say goodbye in their own way.

There’s a peaceful reflection room for those who would like some quiet time with their pet, and I can also help with beautiful keepsakes, scatter tubes and memorial jewellery through Cherished & Loved.

Losing a pet is incredibly difficult, and there’s never any rush or expectation here. My aim is simply to make one of the hardest days that little bit gentler.

Thank you to everyone who follows, shares and recommends Greenfields, and a very warm welcome if you’re new here. 💚

🍂 Autumn is here… and there are a few little things to keep in mind for our pets.

As the leaves start falling and the evenings get darker, autumn brings a few seasonal hazards that are easily overlooked.

Conkers and acorns can cause problems if eaten, while fallen leaves and damp woodland can hide mushrooms and other things curious noses might investigate. It’s also worth being extra careful around antifreeze as the colder weather arrives, as even small amounts can be extremely dangerous to pets.

And with those darker walks creeping in, a reflective collar, light or hi-vis lead can make a big difference to keeping dogs visible near roads. 🐕

Autumn is such a lovely time for muddy walks, and cosy evenings at home, just a few extra precautions can help keep our four legged family members safe while enjoying it. 🤎

Some people like to scatter their pet’s ashes but keep a little bit close to home too. This small heartshaped urn is a lovely way to do that.

It holds a small amount of ashes, so it’s also an option if family members would each like a keepsake. For the tiniest pets, it may hold all of their ashes. And the little paw prints on the front are such a sweet touch. ❤️
