✨ Slimmer of the Month! ✨

We are so pleased to announce that Denzil is our Slimmer of the Month for August! 🐶🥹

Denzil has been seeing our nurse Jade for weight clinics, and his mum has been working so hard to help him reach his current weight. Together, they've achieved an incredible 7% weight loss in just 8 weeks! 🎉

When you're a little dog, the number of grams lost might not sound like much, but when you look at the percentage and his body condition score (BCS), the difference is fantastic! 😍

Denzil is looking amazing, and we couldn't be prouder of him and his mum. Keep going, Denzil! 🥰🐾

Celebrating Success! 🥳✨

Behind the scenes, our nurse Jade has been working hard to complete an additional certificate in Veterinary Nurse consulting. We're delighted to say that she has passed the course with flying colours and can now use the post-nominals CertNCS(RVN Cons) 🎓

This additional training has given Jade further knowledge and skills to support our patients and their owners through nurse-led consultations, including preventative healthcare, nutrition, weight management and ongoing healthcare support 🩺🐾

Congratulations, Jade! We are so proud of you! 🫶

🔊 Sound on for hedgehog nom-noms! 🦔🥰

This sweet little hedgehog was brought into us recently after a caring member of the public spotted her out in daylight and noticed that she was quite small.

We kept her safe, warm and well-fed before transferring her into the care of our local wildlife rehabilitator, Martin, from South Manchester Wildlife Rescue 🐾

A huge thank you to the kind member of the public who stopped to help this little one, and to Martin for taking her into his care. We hope she continues to thrive and will be back out in the wild where she belongs very soon! 🌿🦔

This little man came to see our vet Naomi recently after he couldn't stop sneezing following an enthusiastic sniff around a flower bed 🌼🤧

Vaccinations play an important role in protecting both animal and human health. Some diseases we vaccinate against, such as leptospirosis, can be passed from animals to people, so keeping your pet's vaccinations up to date helps protect not only them, but your family and the wider community too 🔬💛
