Many of the horses at the Cavalier Centre are good doers, but that doesn't remove the need to consider whether their diet is providing an appropriate balance of essential vitamins and minerals.

Forage is the foundation of the diet, but its nutritional content can vary. That’s why balancing forage is so important.

For the Cavalier Centre, Horslyx provides a practical way to complement their horses’ forage with essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements, whether they’re out in the field or spending time in the stable.

For horses who do such an important job, supporting them with the right nutrition is one of the ways we can give something back.

We’ve recently shared how the horses and ponies at the Cavalier Centre support confidence, wellbeing and connection.

Now we want to celebrate the other extraordinary horses making a difference every day.

Tell us about a horse that has supported you, inspired you or simply been there when you needed them most.

To do the extraordinary things they do, horses need us to look after them too.

Good nutrition plays an important part in supporting their health and wellbeing, helping provide the essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements they need alongside a forage-based diet.

That’s why our partnership with the Cavalier Centre isn't just about celebrating these remarkable horses – it's about supporting them, too.

A horse can mean something different to everyone.

A friend. Confidence. Comfort. Freedom. A teacher. A reason to smile.

At the Cavalier Centre horses and ponies make a difference to people’s lives every day, they give their patience, trust and companionship, creating moments and connections that can mean so much.

And while we celebrate everything these extraordinary horses give to us, it’s important to think about what we can give them in return.

Because when horses give us so much, they deserve something back.

They give confidence without asking for anything in return. They create connections without saying a word. And sometimes, simply being there is enough to make someone's day that little bit brighter.

The horses and ponies at the Cavalier Centre make a difference every day - and we’re proud to play a part in giving something back to them through nutritional support.

Because extraordinary horses deserve extraordinary care.

More than a reward.

At the Cavalier Centre, so many different participants and volunteers have the opportunity to interact with the horses, making those moments of connection incredibly special.

But with lots of people handling the horses, the team understandably tries to avoid hand-feeding and the unwanted behaviours it can sometimes encourage.

Offering a Horslyx gives participants a way to reward and interact with the horses, while creating a lovely moment of connection between them.

For horses who give so much to the people around them, it’s a simple way to give a little something back.

We recently got to see how participants and volunteers at the Cavalier Centre are impacted by the horses and ponies there - and how the connections they create can change lives.

We want to hear about the horse that has helped shape who you are. Share your story and tell us what they have taught you along the way.

Sometimes little can make a big difference 🧡

One of the things we loved hearing during our time with the Cavalier Centre was how Horslyx helped the team everyday.

When one of their horses became a little unsettled during a veterinary examination, the team reached for a Horslyx Mini, giving him something enjoyable to focus on while the vet carried out the examination, making the experience more positive for everyone.
