🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day | 28th August 🌈
Today, we pause to remember the beloved pets who have crossed the Rainbow Bridge and the paw prints they left on our hearts. ❤️
Whether they were with us for many years or only a short time, our animal companions become cherished members of our families, bringing us joy, comfort, laughter, and unconditional love.
We also invite you to visit the Remembrance Section on our website, a special place dedicated to celebrating the lives and memories of treasured pets who will never be forgotten. It is our way of helping families keep their companions' memories alive and recognise the lasting impact they have on our lives. ❤️

As we remember those we've lost, we're also grateful for the pets who are still by our side. Our team is always here to support your pets at every stage of life, helping them stay happy and healthy for years to come.
If your pet is due a check-up, vaccination, or you have any concerns about their health, appointments can be booked quickly and easily through our website at a time that suits you.
💕 Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.

🐾 International Dog Day | 26th August 🐾
Today we celebrate the incredible bond between humans and dogs. From loyal family companions who bring joy to our everyday lives, to dedicated working dogs who support, protect and assist people in countless ways, dogs truly make the world a better place. ❤️
International Dog Day is also an opportunity to raise awareness of the many dogs still searching for their forever homes. If you're considering adding a canine companion to your family, please remember that adopting from a reputable rescue can change a dog's life.
Whether your dog is a playful puppy, a devoted companion or a hardworking hero, we'd love to celebrate them with you. Share a photo of your dog in the comments and tell us what makes them special! 📸💙

It’s Day 5 of Rabbit Awareness Week: Feeding Bunnies Better!🥬🐰

A rabbit that stops eating is often a rabbit that needs urgent veterinary attention. Changes in appetite can be an early sign of dental problems, stress, illness or gut stasis — which can quickly become serious.

Keep an eye on eating habits, droppings and behaviour, and always contact your vet if something feels wrong. Healthy rabbits start with prevention, proper nutrition and regular care.

It’s Day 4 of Rabbit Awareness Week: Feeding Bunnies Better! 🥬🐰

Rabbits love to forage, dig, chew and explore, and food can be a great way to encourage these natural behaviours. Try scattering nuggets through hay, hiding treats in enrichment toys or offering safe forage to keep mealtimes fun and stimulating.

Feeding shouldn’t just fill tummies, it should keep rabbits mentally and physically active too.

It’s Day 3 of Rabbit Awareness Week: Feeding Bunnies Better! 🥬🐰

Did you know hay should make up 85–90% of your rabbit’s diet? The rest should include a small portion of high-fibre nuggets, rabbit-safe greens and fresh water daily.

Too many treats or muesli-style foods can lead to selective feeding and serious health issues, so getting the balance right matters. This year, we’re helping owners feed their bunnies better one bite at a time.

It’s Day 2 of Rabbit Awareness Week: Feeding Bunnies Better! 🥬🐰

Rabbits are social animals and should live in compatible pairs or groups. A lonely rabbit can become stressed, withdrawn and may even lose interest in food.

Eating together is a natural rabbit behaviour, bonded bunnies often graze side-by-side, forage together and help each other feel safe and secure.

Friendship really can help keep rabbits happier, healthier and eating well.

It’s Day 1 of Rabbit Awareness Week and we’re kicking off our 20th anniversary campaign: Feeding Bunnies Better! 🎉🐰
Rabbits need plenty of space to hop, stretch, explore and forage naturally. A cramped setup limits movement, impacting their health, wellbeing and make it harder to encourage natural feeding behaviours like grazing on hay throughout the day.
Create a rabbit-friendly space with room to scatter feed, forage and room to roam, because happy homes help create healthy appetites.

**FOUND**

This gorgeous chap was found in Leyland Park, Hindley. Black and white entire male, not microchipped so unable to locate owner. He has a wound to his head which we are treating him for and then we will hopefully find him a space in rescue if nobody comes forward.

Please spare a share.
