To all audience members this a sad and somber post however I don’t regret it at all. For years me and my partner went out our way to create something we could show people about reptiles that you’d all love enjoy and remember !However it’s time I tell you all we have finished I’ve changed career and I’d like to keep that to myself however ,the smiles I’ve had over the years have been nothing short of fantastic I grew up watching Steve Irwin and wanted to do this and have done.I watched a man change everyone’s opinion on these animals and I wanted to do the same and I can safely say I have.Ive seen many smiles with these animals and seeing opinions quickly change about them ! I’d like say a big thank you to my partner who put up with me and the many animals I’ve saved,tried to keep alive and rescue from bad situation unfortunately not all made it and it’s been a toll on me from day one knowing what I was getting into.However all the doom and gloom aside if you’ve got a photo with us share in the comments we will be looking at this post for the next 2 weeks before this page is gone for good however thank you all

Hello all we’d like to take this time to share a post with you all regarding rehoming animals.We have successfully taken animals in our care and still have them now however some have not made it.After the loss of a reptile today we’d like to take this time to tell everyone that we will no longer take animals in.At Mac’s reptiles we strive to give our animals the best however due to nature not all make it and that is a reality of life.We would like to thank you all for trying to rehome animals with us however we will no longer take animals in

Important announcement for all who are booking .We have tried to stay competitive and reasonable price for a long time.However due to the surge in prices and constant on going cost we have had to amend our prices.

Our new deposit is now £75 and the remaining balance of £200 to be paid on the day of the show

We completely understand this may be off putting however as mentioned before due to prices constantly increasing we need to bring our prices to match what is affordable to ensure we keep supplying quality shows

It’s an event day for everyone to come to and yes we will be there with the animals !

So while we are very close to being open again here are few things that have been happening behind the scenes.We have done a massive over haul on our vivariums changed all of the lighting for new and better electrical systems.Given all the animals vivariums a new spurt of life and mostly given all of the reptiles time to rest.While we have been doing all of this we decided to add to the animal collection with 2 additions this year ! Well it’s been a while but we have good news it’s nearly time for us to making public appearances again !

We will be working shows from end of February! If you would like to make a booking we are still able to make a booking for you in the mean time securing your day with the reptiles !

After finishing shedding and some late photos of him here he is.

Sausage is our 3 year old blood python.These pythons come from south east Asia where the the heat is constant and the humidity is high.A lot of reptile shops will sell another kind of these snake thinking they are a blood python however they are not !

Blood pythons are related to the Borneo short tailed python and the Sumatran short tailed python.A lot of shops would sell both of these snakes thinking they are bloods however there is only one true blood python.

As far as snakes goes your could consider them to be relatively “new” as they became listed as their classification in 2000 !!!

Owning a blood python isn’t for the faint hearted and takes a lot of work as they snakes can come with a very defensive attitude

With Christmas now coming closer each day and our final bookings coming closer and closer each day it’s time we tell all of our followers about our winter shut down.

From November 28th we will be not taking any bookings or appearing in any shows or events or birthday until February 3rd.

We thank you all for the following of our page all year round.We can still take bookings for 2026 in the mean time however we are wanting to upgrade the reptiles lighting and give them time to rest as well as enjoy the festive time of year.

So I’m the meantime here is a picture of Nal and her best attempt at hiding
