💙🐶 Duggie Superstar - the best boy in the world 🐶💙
Very sadly on Tuesday afternoon we had to say Goodbye to our best boy after a brave fight with several serious conditions. He had been under the amazing care of Chantel and the team at Northwest Veterinary Specialists who have given us an extra year with him and for that we are incredibly greatful, unfortunately on his last visit 7 weeks ago we were given the news that his medication wasn't working as it should and without several major operations there was nothing else that they could do, and at 15 & 1/2 that wasn't something that we wanted to put him through.
He had a very peaceful passing at home with the most gentle kind vet and then was collected by a lovely lady a couple of hours later to take him to the crematorium and who will bring him back home to us.The kindness and compassion that they showed to us was second to none just like he deserves.
As you can imagine he's left a huge Duggie shaped hole in our hearts but one that is filled with lots of love, fun and laughter, he certainly was a little character, from jumping up to say hello to a jogger but accidentally pulling down his shorts, grabbing an old man's trousers and giving them a tug because he was fed up of us talking and wanted to carry on with his walk, dragging me up an embankment and me falling flat on my face and us having to do the walk of shame home covered in mud from head to toe just as all the school kids were getting off the school bus , to stealing part of a window display in a shop in the lakes and us having to return it red faced while all the staff stood there laughing....if their was mischief to be had he was in the centre of it.
We hope he's having the time of his life up there, riding shotgun in the bin wagon with a custard tart in one paw and a cheeky slurp of beer for afters.
Love you to the moon and back little man ...it's been an absolute pleasure 💙🐶💙 ###
