🐾 Positively Purchases...B&M Edition 🐾

Let's see what's actually worth buying in the B&M dog treat aisle.

In this series, I head into B&M to share the dog products I’d genuinely buy for training and enrichment — and the ones I’d leave on the shelf.

As a dog trainer, I’m looking at things like ingredients, value for money, and whether they’re actually useful for your dog.

Today’s finds:
✔️ Worth buying
🤔 Maybe / depends on your dog
❌ Leave it on the shelf
Have you tried any of these with your dog?
What would you like me to review next?

It's a wonderful, safe and peaceful place to exercise your dog, something different than the usual enclosed field.

❕A reminder there are no walks today while I recover from climbing Helvellyn yesterday❕
I am however back to work tomorrow, a day earlier than planned, so if anyone would like to add on, just let me know 💞
Although judging by the state of my legs today, we may be slow moving for the next few days 🙈

Another new face for you to meet. Elsie can be very frightened of the world, to help her I work with .pay at Standish Dog Trainer. Jo creates the training plan for her behavioural work, then I support Elsie's humans with the training that needs to be done. It takes a village and Elsie definitely has one!

I often get asked about what equipment you should use with your dog, so I thought I'd do a series on my recommendations.

First up, harnesses. This is not a debate on why I use one, simply things to think about if you CHOOSE to use one.

Things to think about when choosing what harness your dog should wear. Shape Take note of what shape the chest piece of the harness is. Is it “y” shaped or is it a straight chest piece? Harnesses w…
