Sometimes, our Elderly visitors just need a bit of support during their groom. Rio wanted cuddles today, so Keera sat with him and gave plenty of snuggles & kisses. We love how super sweet Rio is 🥰🫶🏻💜🐾

Miss Sassy Pants, AKA Arya, in for her regular groom & deshed treatment today. She’s not content with getting wet on her own - she has to ensure I’m also saturated head to toe. This is only the front view, the back was even worse 🤣 Demands tummy tickles post pamper every single time 🥰

Never ‘just a dog’

I think it’s safe to say we have evolved a great deal from the old school thinking that a dog is ‘just a dog’

A bond between humans & canines is extremely special & sacred. There isn’t anything most wouldn’t do for their furry companion.
We appreciate dogs all the more and because of this, we are far more perceptive to their needs and welfare than in days gone by. We want more for them, a longer life, better food, more enrichment, more love. To feel like they are part of the family..

Dogs don’t mistreat you
Dogs are always happy to see you
Dogs are always willing to please you - always. And most will do whatever it is you ask of them. They trust you implicitly.

They don’t talk over you
Don’t back chqt
Don’t say hurtful words or perfom hurtful actions
They are loyal to the core
Forever & always

This is why they are labelled ‘man’s best friend’

Man’s best friend deserves your compassion. Your care. Your common sense

Just because they ‘love the sun’ ‘love to sunbathe next to me’ “love chasing that ball’ ‘love the outdoors’ - doesn’t mean they should be walked in high temperatures. Doesn’t mean they should be left to sunbathe outside unsupervised. Doesn’t mean that because they can’t complain, they aren’t suffering!

For the love of dogs - please please PLEASE.. do not walk your dogs or leave them to sunbathe in this heat.

Love your dog, care for your dog. Don’t be oblivious to the dangers of hot weather

Ask yourself- would you sit inside with a fur coat on in front of a fan? Would you walk outside or run in this weather with a fur coat on and no shoes on?

Be safe. Keep your dogs safe. Be vigilant & please - look out for your furry angels 💜🐾

Maverick telling everyone it’s going to be too hot to groom in the afternoons for the next week or so … If you haven’t already been contacted, you will be asked to move your appointment slot to earlier in the day. We will be asking those who can come early morning to do so as this is the coolest time to be grooming. The weather is great for us humans but not so much for our furry puppers and definitely not safe to be making a journey anywhere when it’s over 24/25 degrees. We ask that you please do your best to accommodate wherever you can 💜🐾 ☀️

To everyone who has moved appointments this week - a huge thank you ☺️ we have been in early and finishing before lunch time every day so we aren’t grooming dogs in this extreme heat.🥵 Just a reminder - please do not walk your dogs to the salon. Even at 7.30am it’s too warm for them. Heatstroke is real, does happen and happens very quickly. You wouldn’t put a fur coat on in this heat sat inside with a fan on - remember they may like to bathe in the sun for a while, but that’s different to walking in the heat.

Notice of changes to cancellation policy & payments

As we are becoming busier, it has become necessary to change our cancellation policy from 24 business hours to 48 hours before your appointment. Any cancellations later than 48 hours notice will mean a late cancellation fee is payable.
Late payments more than 48 hours post groom, will incur a late payment fee

Payments - due to having to constantly chase for payments and recently having non-payment, any bank transfers are required BEFORE or UPON collection - we can no longer accept payment several hours after your dog has been groomed & collected.
If payment isn’t received upon collection, payment via cash will be requested or bank transfer whilst in the salon.

Should this present an ongoing problem, we will have to resort to cash only payments, however we are trying to avoid this if we can.
