Why we don’t open Saturdays - always kids sports ( well not kids anymore but always will be to me )

A parents nightmare both older kids competing at elite level tomoro - 100s of miles apart.
Worse dilemmas to have I know

Corey Bowker of to start for Lancashire in a cup final at the amazing twickenham stadium. 2nd time here for him but first time as main no 1 - very proud of you lad. Score for mum pls.

Darcy Bowker is competing after being invited to the European natural strongman ok strong women for clarity. She qualified earlier in the yr.

She’s worked so hard to drop around 25 kg to move from being an open cat competitor to an under 82s for the last 2 comps.
She’s looking fantastic and still stupidly strong. No more competing against giants of 6ft and 20st. She’s a totally amazing girl and we are very proud of her.

Sadly for Darcy the rugby wins \ I know she understands - I’ve always loved rugby and seeing your kids play can’t be beaten.

Ps Darcy could be a pro rugby player if she wanted / as skilled and fast as Corey and you’d not want her to tackle you. She played for Lancs herself a couple of times before she stopped around exam time.

We love backing on to Amberswood - a neighbour this morning has commented about TICKS being a huge issue. Dogs only on path walk have come back covered in them. These have horrible consequences for some dogs - Lyme disease etc.

We have some stock of preventative sprays - and removers

But you can always make your own
