I’m really pleased to officially welcome Hollie from Hollie’s Hounds to Wickwar Pet Studio 🐾

Hollie is now working from her own dedicated grooming space within the salon, offering the same one-to-one approach that’s so important to us.

She has such a genuine love of animals, a real passion for grooming and is always looking to keep learning and developing her skills.

I thought it would be lovely for you to get to know her a little better, so over to Hollie… 👇

Hi, I’m Hollie 👋 from Hollie’s Hounds!

From a very young age, all I’ve wanted to do is work with animals and make a difference.

Over the years, I’ve rescued and rehabilitated more than 50 small animals, including guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and rabbits. Fun fact, I even have a tattoo of one of my guinea pigs on my ankle! 🐹

Small animals aside, I have my own miniature poodle, Shadow. I’d wanted a poodle ever since I started as an apprentice dog groomer, and I love being able to practise different trims and styles on him and keep building my skills. 🙌

My goal is to keep learning and developing as a groomer, particularly with poodles, and eventually work towards becoming an International Certified Master Groomer, an advanced qualification in professional grooming.

I’m really excited to be bringing Hollie’s Hounds to Wickwar Pet Studio and meeting you and your dogs! 🐾

If you’d like to book an appointment with Hollie, please message Hollie’s Hounds on:

A little salon update 💙

After lots of planning and a fair bit of disruption, our salon renovation is finally coming together. Thank you Jon Carpentry & Handyman Services!

The biggest change has been creating two separate grooming cubicles so we can welcome Hollie from Hollie’s Hound’s to Wickwar Pet Studio. Hollie’s Hounds

It was really important to me that, even with two groomers working from the salon, we didn’t lose the calm, one to one experience that our dogs are used to.

Each grooming area is completely separate, helping to keep dogs safe and secure, with their own little space to relax on a bed, have a play and settle between different parts of their groom.

We wanted the salon to feel brighter and more practical, but still calm, comfortable and very much focused around the individual dog.

There are still a few finishing touches to do, but I’m so pleased with how it is all coming together and we’re really excited for this next chapter.

Here’s a little look around the newly refreshed Wickwar Pet Studio 🐾

Spent my day at Groomfest leveling up my skills! 🐾 Because your dogs deserve nothing less than the absolute best, I’m always investing in my education to keep up with the latest grooming techniques, safety standards, and coat care knowledge.
