Our gorgeous mumma, April, and friend Bailey are now with Clark’s Farm to continue their search for their homes.
They’ve already been out exploring and mingling in the local area - both doing so well!

Bailey is going to be the life and soul of the party when she finds her family! April is definitely a people person and loves the fusses more than anything else! 🥰

Clark’s Farm do a fabulous job and we know they’re in great hands.

We are very lucky to be supported by such wonderful charities that give our hounds bigger platforms to find their families! Forever grateful 🥰

If you’ve been following us a while you might remember Ronnie, who found his home at the Romford Retired Greyhound Show at Fobbing in June 2024 (pictured with his rosette on his belly).
Ronnie was always one for belly rubs - even at the show he was loving the attention and getting his belly rubs in!

Well last week he visited us for a short stay with his sister, Peggy. It was so lovely to see them again, and yes…we made sure he got his belly rubs in! Not sure who loved the belly rubs more, Ronnie or our kennelhands!

A lot of you will remember this stunning boy when we posted him searching for a home - it’s Jasper 💙

We are over the moon to say that Jasper has been at home with his new family for over 6 weeks now - thank you must go to Clarks Farm Greyhound Rehoming Centre for finding Jasper his family!

Jaspers new Dad reached out to us to provide the most wonderful update of how he is doing so well and being such a good boy. He goes to work with his new Dad and is also a football supporter for his human brother on the weekends!

The photos we have attached show Jasper from birth right through to his retirement chapter, where he is now happily settled into his home. Our hearts are full knowing this handsome boy is doing so well!

Thank you to Jaspers new family - it means the world to us to receive updates such as yours about our former hounds 💙

It’s , and we’ve been busy small dog testing our recently retired hounds! We have a real mixture of boys and girls of all colours and sizes looking for their homes at the moment but one thing is the same for all of them…they ALL passed their small dog tests first time! 🥳

Our hounds are certainly enjoying the cooler weather more than the heatwaves we’ve recently experienced that’s for sure!

We are lucky enough to have some amazing supporters here at Home Run Hounds Greyhound Charity No 1209071.

One of our supporters here at the Romford branch is Georgia, who is Head Nurse at one of the local vet practices in Kent which the charity uses. Georgia, who has been involved in the Greyhound world since a small child, was keen to support the charity and has kindly offered to do a sponsored 12000ft skydive! 🪂 Which will take place on Saturday 8th August at Headcorn Airfield in Kent. This is an incredible challenge and we can all safely say Georgia is braver than we are!
We will all be there to support her on the day, and 100% of monies raised will go to support the Greyhounds in our care. Depending on the amount raised we will purchase an item or 2 that will benefit the dogs which will be shared online after the jump, so donors are able to see a tangible benefit for the dogs in our care.

💙MONZA💙

Meet the wonderful lad that is Monza, who turn 3 years old in May!

Being one of the larger boys in the kennel, weighing in around 37kg, and being a black boy too, we are worried that Monza will be overlooked for rehoming as people may be put off by his size and colour. So we’re hoping that the power of social media can help us! This boy also comes with a large heart and a lot of love to give!
He has the best puppy dog eyes you’ll ever have seen (well try and get a photo!).

Having recently retired from racing, Monza will be ready for homing in around 3 weeks but he’s available for viewing from now whilst we prepare him for his next chapter!
