Hi my name is kim and I have set up the pet lady dog walking and pet sitting service after leaving my job with the National RSPCA after 10 years of service. professional rabbit sitting in your home or mine, small animal sitting, rabbit bonding service, rabbit grooming, I also offer pet sitting in the owner’s home over night. I have worked with animals professionally for the last 10 years (this has
given me wealth of life experience), during my time at the RSPCA I have worked with a wide variety of animals from all walks of life, and from all different backgrounds, it takes a lot to phase me. I have completed all the relevant qualifications as listed below
• Certificate of proficiency awarded by the National RSPCA for attainment in the following subjects - Handling and restraining animals, Animal First aid, health checking animals, Care of animals, animal accommodation maintenance, RSPCA policies and procedures, aggression in dogs, dog behaviour, how to handle nervous dogs and cats, caring for Wildlife in the first 24 hours, dealing with dog attacks on humans, understanding and meeting the welfare needs of dogs in RSPCA care.
• City and guilds GNVQ Animal care level 2, covering animal nutrition, behaviour and handling, animal science, animal housing and environment, wildlife and conservation, welfare of farm animals, small animal husbandry
• Edexcel National Diploma in Animal Management Level 3 covering animal health, animal biology, wildlife rehabilitation, animal collection and management, animal anatomy and physiology, Animal welfare, animal law, farm livestock management, ecology, animal nutrition, animal nursing, animal behaviour, exotic animal management, breeding and genetics, business management for land-based industries, animal welfare and breed development.
• FDSC Degree Animal Studies covering, Animal health and disease, farm animal welfare, reproduction, and genetics, canine studies, animals in industry, nutrition, animal management, animal law, animal behaviour, working with animals, core science and principles of physiology
• Two Week intensive residential Program based on food farming and agriculture at the royal agricultural college in Cirencester.
