The gorgeous Elmo popped in for her regular nail clip, and as always, it was lovely to see her! ❤️

Elmo has known our wonderful vet Violeta for many years, and over that time, the two have developed a very special friendship! 🥰 It's always heartwarming to see the bond that grows between our team and the animals we care for.

Elmo was looking as beautiful as ever, showing off her stunning colours! 🌈🦜

🐾 A little face with a very important message! 🐾💙

How handsome is this little boy?! 😻

This gorgeous young gentleman came to see us for his neutering, and we just couldn't resist sharing his adorable face! 🥹💕

Neutering is one of the most important things you can do for your cat's health and wellbeing, and it comes with lots of benefits!

🐱 Reduces roaming – Neutered male cats are less likely to wander far from home in search of a mate, reducing the risk of road accidents and getting lost.

🐾 Meet Toby!🦷💙

This very cute boy came in to see us for his dental treatment, and just look at that gorgeous face! 🥰 Toby was an absolute star during his visit and enjoyed plenty of fuss from the team.

Dental health is such an important part of keeping our pets happy and healthy. Plaque and tartar can build up over time and may lead to sore gums, dental disease, bad breath and painful teeth. 🐾 Meet Biscuit – our very brave little visitor! 🐾

This adorable little chap came in for treatment with us recently as he wasn't feeling very well, and it’s safe to say he completely stole our hearts. ❤️

Biscuit was such a brave boy throughout his stay, charming the whole team with those gorgeous big eyes and his sweet little face. 💕

It’s always a privilege to care for our patients, some have a special way of winning everyone over — and Biscuit certainly did!

Sophie 🐹

I started my veterinary nursing career at RSPCA Putney Animal Hospital in 2011, where I developed a passion for nursing exotic and wildlife patients.
I qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse in 2016 and, after a short break from nursing in 2024, joined the Coastal Vets team in July 2026.
I hold additional certificates in Advanced Nursing of Small Mammals and Zoo Animals, with a special interest in caring for small furries.
I have two guinea pigs of my own, Marshmallow and Candy.

I’m very happy to be part of the Coastal Vets team and look forward to getting to know you and your pets!

🐾 Meet lovely Wilson! 🐾

Gorgeous little Wilson came in for her monthly health check and parasite control treatment, and what a superstar she was! 🌟 She was such a good girl throughout her visit and, as you can imagine, it didn’t take long for her to win everyone over. 🥰🐶

Regular parasite control is especially important for puppies as they grow. Keeping on top of treatments helps protect them against unwanted visitors such as fleas and worms, helping them stay happy and healthy as they explore the world. ❤️

A little thank you from all of us… and Roxy! 🐾

We’d like to say a huge thank you to all our lovely clients for your patience and understanding while we search for a new receptionist. ❤️

Things have been particularly busy at times, and on some days we’ve had to call in extra help… although we’re not entirely convinced Roxy has the right qualifications! 😂☎️

She’s been doing her best to answer the phones, make bookings and keep reception running smoothly — but as you can probably tell, she’s still getting to grips with the computer! 🐶⌨️

The good news is that our advert for a new receptionist is now LIVE!

If you’re friendly, organised, love working with people (and don’t mind having Roxy as a colleague 🐾), we’d love to hear from you.
