I offer solo walks from £15 for puppies, senior dogs, reactive dogs, and dogs with medical conditions. Every dog deserves a walk that suits them.

Meet Dave the shorthaired St. Bernard puppy. Just 30 minute walks with Dave as he’s only 6 months old. St. Bernards are giant breeds with rapidly growing bones and slow-closing growth plates so it’s important not to over exercise him to protect his joints.

Dave is an absolute sweetheart (most Daves are!), he’s a little bit wary of people, other dogs and tall wheelie bins. What a joy to get to know him on our walks in the Canton area of Cardiff.

It’s been 12 months to the day since I started walking other people’s dogs for them, grateful for the walks, shoutout to all the owners and dogs I’ve worked with in the last year, it’s been a blast, here’s to another year ahead of muddy paws and wagging tails.

It’s been a great week of solo dog walks in Heath, Radyr, Roath Park and Rhiwbina in Cardiff, here’s our pack of the week.

Harvey the Golden Retriever, fun loving and super well-behaved.
Ben the Labrador, senior but still full of life.
Bronwen the Staffordshire Bull Terrier, sensitive and loving.
Seren the Cockapoo, a ball of energy and such a sweet girl.

I’m grateful to be able to spend time with these amazing dogs, each walk is the highlight of my day, hopefully our walks together have been the highlight of their days too.

Meet Bronwen the Staffordshire Bull Terrier. We’ve been walking today in the beautiful North Cardiff Countryside.

Bron is a beautiful girl, so well behaved and a kind soul. I’m really fond of her and love our time together, it really is a joy to take her on her walks.

Meet Kaden, a Great Pyrenees who I’ve been taking on solo walks this week.

Kaden is a livestock guardian, so his owner has given me some very specific instructions to follow, tailored to his working nature.

He’s a beautiful dog, and his calm and gentle demeanour has made him an absolute joy to walk.

We’ve been exploring some of North Cardiff’s beautiful countryside together. Days like these are exactly why I love being a dog walker.

Great stroll this afternoon with Ben the Labrador, he’s got a few miles on the clock, a few lumps and bumps, but he doesn’t let that bother him. He’s not dwelling on a little mishap from yesterday or worrying about what dogs he might meet on the walk, he’s just present, smiling, enjoying the moment and smelling all the amazing scents nature has to offer.

Message of the day…must be more like Ben. 🙏❤️

Ever get the feeling your dog knows exactly what you’re thinking? 🤔🐕

It turns out, they might understand us far better than we realise!

Dogs are constantly watching, listening and sniffing — learning our routines, reading our facial expressions and body language, recognising our voices and even picking up on changes in our scent.

Research suggests dogs can detect stress and fear, understand whether our actions are intentional, work out when we’re not paying attention… and, incredibly, even detect certain illnesses through smell. 👃🐾

After spending thousands of hours observing us, our dogs may just be the ultimate experts on us. ❤️

So next time your dog gives you that knowing look… maybe they really do know what you’re thinking!

Helping out Leona this afternoon covering a short solo walk with this absolute legend Ben the Labrador. He’s an elderly chap but full of life and energy, we can learn so much from dogs about staying in the moment, pushing on regardless of adversity and wagging our tails, Ben is a perfect example of this! 🐕😍
