Being nominated for the BBC Radio Shropshire Animal Award has absolutely blown us all away!
We are so very grateful that people see how hard we work to save and improve the lives of hundreds of cats. While the nomination video is lovely, it only scratches the surface of what our incredible team does every day. We wanted to share a bit more about who we are and what this nomination represents:

✅️The Toughest Cases & Sanctuary Care: We don’t just take standard rescue cases. We take the worst of the worst—the cats with a euthanasia threat hanging over their heads. We also provide a lifelong, pain-free sanctuary at our own expense for cats who cannot be rehomed due to health reasons.

✅️Funding Veterinary Care for Strays: When a stray cat is sick, injured, or in need, we completely cover their veterinary treatment to give them a fighting chance at a healthy life. 🩺

✅️Shropshire's Only Pet Food Bank: We provide food parcels to struggling owners, making it possible for families to keep their beloved pets during tough times.

✅️100% Volunteer-Run Cat Cafe: Our cafe is completely not-for-profit. Not a single person takes a wage, meaning every penny goes straight to the cats.

✅️Dignity & Community Support: We offer free microchip scanning to reunite lost pets, run vital Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) programs, and compassionately collect road traffic accident (RTA) victims to trace owners and lay those beautiful souls to rest.

✅️Educating the Next Generation: We visit primary schools to teach children the vital importance of animal welfare and responsibility.

We didn’t just build a rescue; we built a phenomenal family of dedicated volunteers who work around the clock.

Sorry !!

We will be closed august 17th-26th

Our dedicated staff will still be looking after our fluffy residents. But the cafe will be closed to customers.
